This will be the last doughboy pool I will purchase... if I want junk... I'll buy one found at a local retail store. Shame on Doughboy.
1st, I have owned doughboy pools in 3 states over 20 year period. The first 2, never had ANY issues with. The 3rd I purchased from their 'local dealer' in northwest arkansas. I ordered a '4 ft pool', as all the previous pools I owned were 4 ft DEEP. Installed and everything, get in to water well below what I am used to. I call the company and am told - you got 4 ft WALLS, not 4 ft deep. Who buys a pool based on WALL size rather than depth? Apparently here they do. 2nd season filter had crack along seam, replaced under warranty. 3rd season, pump went out, as did hoses. 4th season needed new winter cover and new vacuum. here in 10th season we had THEIR company come out to check the liner as we had drained the pool due to phosphate issues. They said we *might* be able to refill it and it would be fine, and stated they would come next day to check it. Never came. I called, and was told ":they told you a new liner was in order, but you refused". Complete opposite of what they told me. Meanwhile, the LADDER that came with the pool has DRY ROTTED and needs replacing, but... they don't make them anymore? Also had to replace skimmer basket and lid, same thing both dry-rotted.
By far the best quality Aboveground Pool in the industry. No question!

My issue with Doughboy? you can only buy their products through authorized dealers.... and apparently they could care less about bad experiences with those dealers. When I requested their help via phone, I got nothing but a busy signal, when I emailed, I got a reply back in 3 days - you need to check with your dealer.
